Our Story.
Our story starts in 1864 when St Peter’s was planted into the Vauxhall community with three main purposes: to share the hope of the Gospel, to face the crucial local social issues of its time, and to be built as a place of prayer.
Building on those original values, in September 2019, a team from Holy Trinity Clapham grafted into St Peter’s, creating a church family of different styles of worship but the same vision, to carry the love of Jesus to the heart of London.
We love London and everyone who calls London home; some maybe for a few months, others for generations, but whoever you are you are welcome here at St Peter’s.
We believe the Gospel, the good news of Jesus, is for all people of Vauxhall and South London.
